Los Angeles is a material city, and the shopping areas, malls, shops and boutiques in West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica and other areas do their part to uphold the image. Clothing and women’s shoes are by far the most common items Los Angelenos shop for, though accessories and jewelry aren’t far behind.
