Birds is a rotisserie chicken restaurant. It sounds strange that it doubles as a relaxed, artsy-style bar during the evening hours, but it somehow manages to pull it off. A no-hassle atmosphere and real, live, caring bartenders (who remember you) make it one of LA’s better-kept secrets. The half-priced drinks on Wednesday and Thursday nights from 11 p.m. to midnight don’t hurt, either.
